Bangladesh Railways
Fitted with the same power unit as a Class 59, the Bangladesh Railway EMD Class JT18U6 were built at the ABB Henschel (AdTranz) factory in Kassel, Germany in the mid 1990s. The meter gauge machines on A1A-A1A bogies incorporate the 645E3C prime mover. A fleet of nine locos Nos. 2701-2709 were built, here No. 2707 is seen in the erecting shop at Kassel.
