Well I never thought I would see log trains back on the Sea Wall. Today 19 January 2022, a trial loading/run was undertaken by Colas Rail Freight on behalf of Euroforest to move logs from Hackney Yard Newton Abbot to Abergavenny (for Pontrilas timber terminal). Running as train 6Z61, the 08.55 Hackney Yard, the train was formed of eight KSA wagons. In rather poor light the train is seen approaching Dawlish.
