Lynton and Barnstaple Railway Project
Woody Bay
A visit to the wonderful Woody Bay station and railway was made on 2 Setember 2020. This is an amazing narrow hayge line, recreating the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. The station is fully restored, together with four original L&B coaches plus several locos. The pride of the fleet in 2017-built replica of the original 1898-built Baldwin 2-4-2T No. E762 Lyn. the railway currently operated on a two mile round trip from Woody Bay to Killington Lane, close to the Exmoor village of Parracombe.
