Night at Dawlish, Colas Rail Freight Class 47 No. 47727 storms through Dawlish during the mid-evening of 28 February 2015 forming train 6C51, the 15.48 Eastleigh to Liskeard formed of RailVac vehicle No. 7095150030. The damp platforms help to lift the little light.

Well something is wrong - the sun is out in Dawlish and a decent train is about!. 43014, 977984, 975814, 977993, 977974, 977984 and 43013 approach Kennaway Tunnel on 27 February 2015 forming 1Q18, 05.18 Old Oak Common to Plymouth via Paddington.

All I can offer on a bright(isn) Sunday morning (22 Feb 15) is an almost repeat of last Sundays pic of a Freightliner 66 passing Dawlish on train 6Y60, the 08.35 Newton Abbot West Junction to Exeter Riverside. This time power is provided by No. 66527 'Don Raider'.

The first of the long awaited First Great Western Trailer Composite (TC) HST Mk3s has now turned up from Wabtec, Kilmarnock. No. 46015 is converted from TF 41179 and now seats 24first and 39 standard, its classified is GH3A and weighs 35.6 tonnes. Running some 74 minutes ahead of schedule, the Network Rail track inspection Class 950 No. 950001 passes Dawlish on 17 February 2015 forming the 09.15 Derby RTC to Plymouth.

On a dull 11 February 2015, Colas Rail Freight Class 56 No. 56078 passes Dawlish with the 6V54 05.35 Chirk Kronospan to Teigngrace empty log train.
