A slightly different view of Dawlish. On 13 March 2019, GW Class 43 No. 43172 'Harry Patch' leads train 1A12, the 07.48 Paignton to Paddington out of the 224yd long Coryton Tunnel on the approach to Dawlish station.
The westbound Aberthaw to Moorswater cement was retimed on 13 March 2019 and worked along the Dawlish Sea Wall in rather nice spring light. Colas Rail Freight Class 66 No. 66846 was used to power the train, rather than the usual Class 70. The train operated as 6C35, 05.16 Aberthaw to Moorswater.

Colas Rail Freight Class 70 No. 70816 emerges from Kennaway Tunnel, Dawlish on 22 January 2019, hauling DR73935 as 6Z42, 11.40 Lostwithiel to Rugby.

With the Aberthaw-Moorswater cement retimed due to engineering work and further delayed by flooding on the LSWR route, 6C35, the 23.16 (05/03) Aberthaw-Moorswater heads west at Dawlish at 11.31 on 6 March 2019 running 153min late, powered by No. 70802.
