Passing the hamlet of Easton, Devon on 6 July 2019, A1 No. 60163 'Tornado' powers the return 'Dart Torbay' charter, running as 1Z04, 16.44 Kingswear to Tame Bridge Parkway. Still no ruddy steam.
Im quite convinced that this device, A1 60163'Tornado' is fitted with either battery power or a hydrogen fuel cell, as we never see any steam, apart from the whistle. Heading west through Dawlish on 6 July 2019, train 1Z03, the 05.57 Tame Bridge Parkway to Kingswear passes the sea wall worksite.
It would have been rude not to have gone for the return 'stand in' NMT on 5 July 2019. A visit to Cockwood was the chosen location, with no other photographers present. 67023, 9523, 977997, 72631, 975091 and 67027 cross the harbour and head away towards Starcross forming train 1Z18 15.34 Paignton to Taunton via Bristol.

DB Class 66 No. 66097 emerges from Kennaway Tunnel, Dawlish on 4 July 2019 with train 6C53, 15.21 St Blazey to Exeter Riverside.
With a blood red sea, rather than the usual blue, following overnight beach excavations at Dawlish, Colas Rail Freight No. 70810 heads between Kennaway Tunnel and Dawlish station on 4 July 2019 powering 13 PCAs forming train 6C36, 07.55 Moorswater to Aberthaw.
Nice to see the red crew came out to play on 3 July 2019 at 07.56. After last evenings 6C99 18.19 Bescot to St Blazey was terminated at Exeter Riverside, it was restarted as the 07.39 Exeter Riverside to St Blazey, powered by DB red-liveried No. 66097. Seen passing the Dawlish Sea Wall work site
