That pleasing low-winter (well nearly) sun, did its job this morning, 26 November 2020, illuminating Colas Rail Freight Class 70 No. 70810 as it approaches Shaldon Bridge, Teignmouth, powering train 6C36, the 07.17 Moorswater to Aberthaw cement empties, word is, that this train has one more working before the service finishes for good.

It was almost dark by the tine the NMT stand-in reached Dawlish Warren during the afternoon on 20 November 2020. Colas Rail Freight Class 37 No. 37099 with vehicles 96609, 1256, 999550, 6261 with No. 37254 on the rear (below), forms train 1Q18, 06.11 Reading Triangle yard to Paignton via Penzance and Dawlish Warren, seen approaching and departing from Dawlish Warren on the leg from Penzance, above pic is reverse formed.
It was a bit grim for the stand-in NMT on 20 November 2020, thankfully the livery gave some form of colour. Colas Rail Freight Class 37 No. 37254 leads vehicles 6261, 999550, 1256 and 96609 with 37099 hanging on the back with train 1Q18, 06.11 Reading Triangle yard to Paignton via Penzance and Dawlish Warren, seen heading west at Dawlish.
Could this be one of the last times the Aberthaw to Moorswater cement operates?, we understand the train is about to finish with closure of the Aberthaw and Moorswater terminals, time will tell. On 18 November 2020, No. 70807 passes along the sea wall, now with neat cladding on the inner face, with train 6C35, 05.33 Aberthaw - Moorswater.
A 'newby' for Dawlish on 15 November 2020, was when large logo rail blue and yellow GBRf Class 66 No. 66789 tailed ballast train 6G70, the 17.30 Westbury to St Budeaux Junction (above). On the front (below) was No. 66790 an import from Sweden., seen passing the new Dawlish landmark of Wavewalker1.
