Sheffield 'TramTrain'

On 25 October 2018, the long awaited opening of the Sheffield 'TramTrain' took place, with three trains per hour running from Sheffield Cathedral to Rotherham Parkgate, a 27minute journey. At present three Class 399 Vossloh/Stadler 'tram trains are required for the service. The images below were recorded on 1 November 2018. The service was being well used, was operating to time and working well.
